Harry Freedman joined the practice in 1985 and he was invited to join the partnership in 1987. He completed his schooling at Moriah College in Bellevue Hill and was admitted into the University of New South Wales where he completed degrees in Arts and Law graduating in 1983. Following graduation, he completed the practical training requirements at the College of Law and was admitted to practice in the Supreme Court of New South Wales and the High Court of New South Wales in July 1984.
After commencing work with J.W Milne & Berry in 1985 he developed his practice in the areas of Litigation as well as in Family Law. He became an accredited specialist in Family Law when the Law Society of New South Wales first introduced the accreditation programme in the early 1990’s. Harry is also a certified practitioner of Collaborative Law. Subsequently he has completed an accreditation in mediation with the organisation known as ACDC, The Australian Commercial Dispute Centre. Harry is also a member of the Australian Institute of Credit Management, The Law Society, The Law Council and City of Sydney Law Society.
Harry is involved on the panel of the pro bono section of the Law Society and has also been a duty solicitor at the Local Court and Family Court. He has previously been appointed as an Arbitrator in the District Court of New South Wales.
He recently provided legal services to Vivian Solon, an Australian citizen deported from Australia as well as Cornelia Rau, a mentally challenged permanent resident who was improperly detained at the Baxter Detention Centre.
Harry is also the Director of MTC Work Soultions, a not for Profit Organisation.
